In the wake of superstorm Sandy, meteorologists are predicting a Nor'easter to threaten the northeastern United States starting Wednesday. Although current reports indicate that the storm is moving further offshore and will likely not be as intense as originally anticipated, heavy rains and winds will still be a factor for this already battered region.

Over the past few weeks, I have been visiting HOPE worldwide programs in Nigeria and India. My schedule has been packed, but I wanted to say how very proud I am of the many wonderful volunteers of HOPE worldwide who have stepped forward to serve those in need in the Northeast.

HOPE worldwide's Community Service Division is actively responding to the disaster Hurricane Sandy. Immediately following the storm, volunteers from HOPE worldwide's Central Jersey and Tri-State Chapters began assisting in disaster relief efforts with our partners, including the American Red Cross.

HOPE worldwide has an opening for a full-time Grants and Programs Administrator.
The primary role of this position will be providing grant writing and administrative support to the Community Services Division (CSD). Other essential duties include, but are not limited to, reviewing and researching grant opportunities and writing grant proposals that align with CSD goals.

Hurricane Sandy made landfall along the northeastern coast of the U.S.on October 29, devastating the New Jersey shore and areas across southern New England and the Mid-Atlantic.Leaving tragedy in its wake, Sandy’s victims are still living in great need of assistance from willing volunteers. HOPE worldwide, together with the American Red Cross, is mobilizing volunteers to help.
400+ TEENS ATTEND TEEN LED CONFERENCE OUTSIDE NEW YORK CITY.
