A Restoration story from Daegu, KoreaHye-Young Woo was an unmotivated college student who was too lazy to even attend classes. Her grades were terrible and she was about to drop out but God saved her life when she was met by disciples and got baptized in 2004. She got disciplined and got her life together to be a light in this world. Her grades improved (she even got all As at one point!), and got a chance to go on an exchange student program to Russia. However, she became prideful and forgot that who she was, was because of God. She started relying on herself and by the time she graduated her heart got hard and she left God in 2006. Many sisters prayed with tears when she left and continued to call her from time to time regardless of her cold responses. They never stopped praying for her.God answered the prayers of the sisters. Hye-Young called one of the sisters at the end of 2007 and asked for help to restore her relationship with God. She had faced relational conflicts at work and realized she could not do it on her own. She was broken about her pride and was restored in Jan 2008. It’s encouraging to see God answer our prayers and see people who go back to the world come back with deeper conviction.
