Dallas, Texas

Dallas, Texas, along with its neighboring cities of Fort Worth and Arlington, constitute the fourth largest metropolitan area in the United States with a total population of over six billion people. Across this metropolis, the church in Dallas (three regional congregations) is witnessing a time of powerful growth. Evangelist Todd Asaad had this to share:

“God has been working in the Dallas church for quite some time and this year is no exception. We have begun a minister in training program with over 30 disciples involved with 18 full time or part time interns training to go and build God’s kingdom. Our campus ministry has nearly 100 members that are averaging over 100 visitors a week. This spring, the Dallas church saw over 1750 at one of our congregational services and mission’s contribution of just under $500,000. We started the year with a goal of 100 baptisms, 1000 member church and over $350,000 for missions; God is leading us toward those goals for his glory.

One particularly encouraging event is our church and staff training. We have invited brothers and sisters from around the United States and world to come into Dallas to preach, lead our congregational bible talk leaders meeting and then a staff meeting on Monday with smaller church leaders. This has been so encouraging to remain connected to our worldwide fellowship, but to also train current, future and regional staffs.”
