AUSTIN TEXAS - Growing and Adding to Staff
AUSTIN, TEXAS
Austin is home of the University of Texas, and is the capital of our great state. Like the city, the Austin church is vibrant and exciting. Dave Hooper (far right in photo above), lead evangelist for our Austin church, spoke to HotNews. (Photo: The Austin church staff)
"2012 has been a year of vision and change for the Austin Church! Having seen God increase the number of disciples to nearly 240, we are faithfully planning for years of great growth and work ahead. Naturally, with growth comes change. In June, after 3 years of service to the campus ministry at the University of Texas, Arlee and Maggie Butterfield stepped out on faith to move and lead the church in Tulsa, OK.
In the past two months, God has blessed the church with the addition of several new members to our staff. Marcus and Naomi Wallace (Left) moved from Tacoma, Washington to take on the leadership of the campus ministry. Additionally, Christian and Deb Flores (below) have moved in from Los Angeles to pioneer a new downtown ministry. We have also added a recent UT grad, Austin Prather as intern for our growing teen ministry. We are excited about all the changes, and full of vision for what God is doing in Austin!"
