COLLEGE STATION TEXAS MISSION TEAM SENT FROM SAN ANTONIO

College Station, Texas, Mission Team sent out...

We are excited to announce that the Mission Team for College Station was sent out this last Sunday July 15th from the Mission Point Christian Church in San Antonio.  The team of roughly 25 disciples will join the small group already in College Station, and their first 'official' service will be on Sunday July 29.  Of course, we were all very excited to recognize the team on the stage of the AT&T Center at the World Summit the week before (see photo above).  Marty and Daonna Wilkinson lead the team.

Please be praying for the success of the team.  We give thanks for the unity and cooperation of all the Texas churches, who contributed both team members and finances for the planting.  College Station is home to Texas A&M University, one of the nation's premier universities.  

This is the first mission planting in over a decade here in Texas.  It is also the first planting for our Texas Oklahoma 2020 vision.  We plan on sending full time leaders to a total of 10 different Texas and Oklahoma cities by the year 2020.  Please be praying for us!
