Johannesburg: Our Uncle Baptized at Age 94

  Paul Keane, a brother in Johannesburg, South Africa had the great opportunity to see his uncle baptized into Christ in April. While it's not uncommon to see our family members deciding to follow Jesus, it's not everyday that you see someone 94 years old making that decision.

  Scotty, Paul's uncle, was a Catholic all of his life. Although late in age, Scotty is a model of humility and williness to learn. He recently began asking his family questions about the Bible. This lead him to start studing the Bible with the disciples.

  His conversion is a constant inspiration to the Johannesburg church. It reminds us that it's never too late to reach out to our families, nor does a person's age stop someone from finding life in Jesus Christ. Scotty has already begun reaching out to his 80 year-old friend and asked him to study the Bible. God can work miracles in anyone's life!
