BOSTON: 2007 Great Year on Campus!

campus interns The Boston campus ministry is in the throws of a revival.  Over the last several years as various challenges have impacted the church, the fervor, faith and impact of the campus ministry waned.  Many battles have been fought to restore the hearts and minds of the students.  As 2007 came to a close the Boston campus ministry has seen multiplied workers, increased unity and the most conversions seen since 2002: 16 conversions have taken place.  There have been souls saved at MIT, Harvard, BC, Emmanuel and others.  Check out all the good news at http://www.bostoncoc.org/campus/index.htm

Los Angeles Campuses See Over 100 Baptized/Restored in 2007

LA campuses had a banner year...

LA

Although the Tattler ran the story one month ago here at IcocHotNews, we still want to point out the article at the LA website.  Over 100 disciples were made on campuses across Los Angeles in 2007.  That is an awesome victory for the church there.  It is especially encouraging in light of the fact that there were only about 200 campus disciples at the beginning of 2007 in the church.  Hats off to LA!  Check out the article at http://www.laicc.net/index.htm

Kenya Update

KILLING AND CHAOS IN KENYA
Disciples Caught Up In Bloody Violence

The announcement of results of the presidential election in Kenya at the end of December sparked violent protests across Kenya, which degenerated into an orgy of burning, looting, raping and killing.  It has left people without food and water, without livelihoods from which to earn a living, and rendered 300,000 people homeless and displaced.  The violence has been as bloody as the pleas for peace have been fervent.  Around 300 lives have been taken.
Not spared from this have been disciples in both Nairobi and Eldoret.

God brought a divided church together- something that was never seen or heard of in any other church in this nation.
